I have some dress crushes. I like these because they are simple and I might be able to sew them one day. It's too cold to wear dresses at work right now (hello 66 degrees in my classroom).

Clogs Clogs Clogs

These are Danskos. I have tried on a different color at Whole Earth, but I think I like this color better.

Above three images are from Wiksten. I have a clog/sock crush on her. She has such great understated style. When I read her blog it makes me want to throw stuff away in my house.

I want clogs! I wanted them a while back and got over it when I found my Frye mule/slip on boot type shoes. I love them and wear them regularly, but I still have the want for clogs. I think they will be super cute with jeggings and again in the spring and summer with dresses.

I'm so doing this.

I'll have to stop wearing my jorts and old soccer t's, but I think it will be fun. Thanks for finding this, Trina!
Though I will try not to do the standard fashion blog pose. (toes turned in, looking down)

French Dressing

Thrift store dress, black ankle boots, old navy stretchy belt. Someone bring me a beret!

Barneys

I LOVE these dresses/color combos. I got my Barneys New York catalog in the mail Saturday. I usually throw it in my collage box without looking at it, but I needed some quality reading material for last night's parent conference event. I'm currently scouting the perfect thrift store turned prom dress for May. The theme is 20s/Great Gatsby. Joel, my chaperone date, better bring it!

Culottes

Rachel and I went thrifting on Saturday and I found these culottes. I had to hem about 6 inches (cause I'm short) I'm pretty happy with them. Every picture I took was unflattering so I resorted to photobooth. More thrift scores tomorrow!

My Favorite Top

I was ironing my favorite top today and remembering when I purchased it. It was February of 2007 in New York. It was so cold there, but I stepped into Otte, this boutique in Chelsea and had to have it. It has stains on the bottom from working in the darkroom and I have already had to replace a button. I love it still...I think I'll wear it tomorrow.

I want this.

I already have the shirt. Perhaps a visit to the pattern section at Joann is in order. I'd have to make mine a bit shorter though. I'm putting it on my list!

The Jumpsuit

I am loving this Jumpsuit from Target (Alexander McQ for Target). This is Rachael rocking it in the elevator yesterday. I rushed to Target after work and bought it. Now I am having second thoughts. I remember when "rompers" were all the rage in middle school. Can I pull it off now?
