Sewn Stash Basket

I made this super easy stash basket tonight. It took me about an hour. I machine stitched the bottom and side where the tutorial has you hand stitch. I used interior decorating fabric (thick like canvas) for the outside, and simple muslin on the inside. I think if I were to make more of these, I would make them smaller and use heavier interfacing to make them more sturdy. I do like the slouchiness of them, but I am not sure how practical it is. Maybe it can hold a knitting project or some fruit and veggies on the kitchen counter. Or maybe your laundry soap? or dog toys? Who knows. I am taking this to Katy at her new house. I am sure she can find something to put in it.
