a simple skirt

I got inspired yesterday by this post. Thanks, Dana, for refreshing my memory on how to make simple skirts! She has the best tutorials ever. I used to make patchwork versions of this skirt back in college (in my hippie fashion days). I used a contrasting band so my skirt wouldn't be too short. I only had one yard of the skulls, and I wanted to maximize my scraps! I think all my girls need one for summer.
