Gift Tags

I busted out my traveling collage box. I made some gift tags. Now what? I don't know. Trina and I are doing the UPFlea, a flea market on Sunday benefitting the University Park Library. We love a good craft fair, so we are setting up shop once again. I'll package these up and see if I get any takers. If not, I guess I have all my gift tags made for the next year or so. Come see us at Snider Plaza on Sunday from 11-5pm!

Tags

I haven't had time to do anything creative with school ending. I have been working on these tags though. Not sure if I should add more, or just leave 'em.

Before I Ruined It

I can't decide if I like this one, or after I attacked it with red pen and colored pencil. Thank goodness for scanners/digital images.

Work in Progress

I'm not sure where I'm going with this collage. More stitches? Commit to adding text? Cover it in gesso?

Altered Books

Katy is taking a history of crafts class in school. I am super envious. Right now they are making deconstruction or altered books. I adore mine and just finished these two pages.

Framed In

Here's my entry for the Framed In prompt at Creative Type. I used a cyanotype background and framed a photo of myself that I took at the London airport at 4 am. (jet lagged and needing to forge a rail pass) I put my photo on top of my friend Joe's. Even though my name was Mr. Joe Mount, it worked. I think I was about 20 years old at the time.

New Valentines

I had a serious card making session with my students today while we sat at an all day art competition. Thanks for the inspiration girls!

Valentine Book

I found an image of this cute valentine book I made a couple years ago. I think I mailed it off to a friend. It inspired me to get to work on more! I also need to start on my your slip is showing challenge. Thanks to Trina for a good creative/brainstorming session this weekend.

I've started my valentine's day cards. This one is for Memaw. Those are her girlfriends in the photo. Sets at Urban Flower/Grange Hall soon!

Resolution

Here's my response to the Resolution challenge on The Creative Type
I used the inside of an old bill envelope as my background.
I went with small resolutions because as a teacher, my new year starts in August...

Paper Doll

Here is my response to the Paper Doll challenge on Eccentric Therapy. I didn't have a paper doll so I used a picture of my grandmother and images from the Burberry look book. I LOVE the cute dresses with cardies and socks. So granny chic.
